Mengdi Italia srl is an Italian company with its headquarters in Prato. It is the Italian Division of the Mengdi group, a Chinese company well known in the garment industry since the 1980s.

The highest demands are fully met by our producers, selected and followed with the maximum accuracy by the Jiaxing Mengdi Import & Export office, in strict cooperation with us. Our factories are amongst the best the garment industry has to offer in terms of quality standards and production capacity.
One of the many points in our favour is also our very own Italian creativity. We are proud of our historical archive of styles (which is at the disposal of our customers), of our ongoing research of techniques and materials and of our cooperation with the Design Studio of Sonia Beconcini. Thanks to this partnership, several important and innovative projects have been developed, the latest one being the creation of a brand designed in Italy but produced and distributed in China: Pescallo.

Over the years, we have established a good cooperation with PIN (Polo Universitario Città di Prato) in relation to the CEDIC project.

Thanks to this partnership, till today we have welcomed three people attending this course in our Jiaxing office and have started the working relationship with one of our employees.
Students coming from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice are also welcomed; our main aim being to grow up and open ourselves to as much opportunities as possible.
The basic idea of our action is the ongoing synergy among many different situations, which day by day gives us the opportunity to gain experience and variety. In our company, the continuous cooperation between the world of work and the one of learning is combined with the mutual exchange of Italian and Chinese knowledges.
